Activists from Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia and Poland came to the embassy of Russian Federation in Copenhagen, to put flowers and light candles to the pictures of a killed Russian antifascists. Against anti-fascists and other dissidents repressions are used. Using a concept «extremism» authorities try to criminalize antifascists and lay them to creation of informal youth movements, carrying on criminal activity. |

In evening of 17th of November, friends of Ivan Khutorskoy, anarchists and anti-fascists gathered at metro station "Tsvetnoy Boulevard" to gather financial support to family of Ivan. At least 400 people gathered there. Soon a bus with OMON riot police and people from "Center of Counteraction Against Extremism" CPE came to disperse crowd, which was gathering peacefully and had not intentions to demonstrate at the spot. According to texts posted to some blogs, aroup of people moved to metro, police tried to grab people but everyone was succesfully dearrested. Later in the evening part of the people who gathered took metro to office of pro-Kremlin youth organisation "Young Russia" (Rossiya Molodaya), which is openly cooperating with organisation "Russkiy Obraz" (Russian Way), linked to suspected murderers of lawyer Stanislav Markelov and anarchist journalist Anastasia Baburova. Office of "Young Russia" was attacked with rocks, stones, flares and road signs. After attack, anti-fascists escaped. Vanya was a great figure in the Russian anti-fascist movement, and I am sure many people will write down their memories of him in thedays, months and years to come. But as of today most of his friends are too angry and too shocked, at the loss of this friend and comrade. |

The banner “Against power and capital” was carried by already traditional for Kiev antifascist Black Block. Around 400 young workers, students, social activists started from the metro station ”Arsenalna” and had to stop near the Shevchenko park, passing Cabinet of Ministers, Parliament and Kiev city administration. Police reacted nervously to the use of fireworks by participants of march and was trying to provoke fights. |

On April 21 the President said he would personally monitor investigation of the death of Ukrainian neo-Nazi Maksim Chayka who was killed during the fight between the far-right extremists and antifascists in Odessa. “We really doubt that the inquest will be impartial and unbiased now, after the intervention of the President of State”, said Vladimir Chemeris from Respublika Institute, the human rights watchdog. He stressed that in the statement published by his press officer Iryna Vannikova, Mr. Yuschenko defined the incident as murder, not as self-defense. |

On April 22 the president of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko made an official statement that there is «an extremist organisation “Antifa”» in Ukraine and demanded from SBU (Ukraine Security Service) – «to check all the information concerning coordination of its activity by the foreign anti-Ukrainian organizations». This is an exceptional incident: the president points out to the law enforcing services that there are extremists in Ukraine, names them, and insinuates who their real organizers and patrons are. Neo-nazist became a victim of his own aggression On the 17th of April in Odessa 15 nazi-skinheads with the use of bottles and rocks attacked 5 members of the anti-fascist movement. Nazis ran up to the antifascists sitting on a bench near the “Orech” club and started shouting threads and Nazis slogans and started the fighting. Earlier activists of «antifa» were often threatened by Nazi-skinheads; anti-fascists were victims of nazi-attacks. Their fore they realized that any conflict provoked by Nazis could be fatal. Protecting their lives “antifa” had to use a pen-knife (means of self-protection not prohibited by the low) Nazi-skinhead Maksim Chaika –was wounded. He did not get proper medical aid and died. If the antifascists had not fighted back protecting themselves they would have been in morgue. The action of solidarity with the Russian anti-fascists and social activists passed today in Denmark.
Ivan “Vanya Bonecrusher” Khutorskoy was shot in Moscow by an unknown nazi assassin on the 16th of November 2009. This interview with him (where he uses a pseudonym) was published on the punxunite.ru website on the 29th of September this year. Yesterday evening, Monday the 16th of November, 26 year old anti-fascist Ivan “Vanya Kostolom” Khutorskoy was shot to death at the entrance to his home at Khabarovsk street in the east side of Moscow; according to some information with two shots to his head.
